Wordophilia Removal
December 28th 2006 00:08
Some of you may have noticed that the Wordophilia blog has been taken down.
Orble takes a very liberal stance about what people can write on their blogs however some of the content on the Wordophilia blog had become incredibly insulting to other writers, way beyond what a reasonable person should be asked to tolerate in a public forum.
I'm all for constructive critisisim between writers but I think it's not too much to ask to keep it respectful.
Thanks,
Jon.

..at first it seemed okay, but it was deteriorating too far and I support your decision... I am glad that you allowed a second chance, btw...

I also support the decision. I would like to know, for my own benefit, if something is offensive by Orble's standards, is a warning given to a blogger to clean matters up prior to removing the entire blog?
Thanks,
Voices~

I witness the the things that were put on to public forum and it was beyond reason. In a similar position I would do the same.

I don't expect any problems with my blog here, but as a professional writer based in the U.S. (where free speech is supposedly guaranteed by our Constitution's Bill of Rights), I always have concerns about censorship.
