Why do so many people hate orble?

This was primarily going to be a gripe about Telstra but today Ive seen a few comments I really dont appreciate from 'professional bloggers'.
We're too small, we write crap, we're idiots, we have a piddly 'trickle' of traffic....
Honestly, Ive had enough! Wheres The Love? I love orble. I fully believe that everyone joined up hoping for renumeration but have found themselves a creative forum where their talent can be explored - Like minds find like minds and we develop creatively. This will lead to greater traffic on the whole and the development of the site in the future. Its how these things work - slow roll, long rolling snowball, use whatever analogy you like, every single writer on this site only continues to get better(and I include the people I clash with in that statement) solely because of the creative interaction and constructive critisim.
Secondly, it seems Telstra hates orble. This computer does not belong to me, it belongs to Kman. It was purchased in the end of 2005 for the SOLE purpose of laying World Of Warcraft. All his friends are on it, and since Im the one who insisted we move to the boondocks its only fair that he gets to speak to his friends somehow! My use of the laptop was minimal until I joined orble and now we fight over the damn thing. At first, my use was fairly minimal, and if it looked like I was going to hit our download quota I would just lay off pics and videos for a bit and that seemed to do the trick.
However now, no matter what I do now, Orble chews up the downloads at least 3 TIMES FASTER than warcraft! How is this possible when Im doing nothing different?
Understand - As soon as I have the money(perhaps next week, perhaps another month, it depends how in demand I am at work) I am going to set up my own account and tailor it to what I can afford. That way there will be no more fights. Until that day my time will be restricted. I will still be here, I will still post at least 3 (hopefully more) times a week. Im finding it intensely frustrating that Ive only just gotten to the point where I can REALLY use orble to its greatest advantage and now Im not allowed to!
This has reached a head today - Kman locked me out of the wireless account. He denies it but I know whats going on. Lucky I know the password. If Im not here tomorrow then you'll know the deal.
Wheres the love people wheres the love? I even love the people I hate here because they still inspire me, theyre part of this great place I call my home, and I just want us all to bloody realize that.
And it is utterly despicable that huge multi billion dollar company can punish a small site just because it is small. For no other reason than that. Of course I dont know that for sure but it fits the evidence. Im being pushed to write a Telstra blog - which I dont want to do. Im full up being HERE and I love it HERE so I dont see why I should go anywhere.
I can see the progress and the growth, and I think anyone who cant is not looking properly. Orble is a fantastic site full of some of the most talented people Ive ever seen (EVERYONE, not just my 'friends') and it only has potential to go onwards and upwards from here. Am I the only one who can see that?

Sounds like you do need your own computer
Not sure why Orble is chewing up the bandwidth. It should be quite lite, although if you are watching lots of videos that could explain things.

Uh-huh, right, while Australis internet sucks, it doesn't suck THAT MUCH, not yet anyway
You might want to stop watching videos, and make sure Kman is not doing 'other' things besides WoW in front of the laptop
I dunno what a pro-blogger is, something like a pro-model maker? Professional bloggers would probably be making money, so yeah, I doubt they'll be spending time on orble

It was someone who came to Katyzzz's blog and I hope she doesnt mind me saying so...They attacked me personally for I comment Id made but also seemed to dislike orble as well. I really didnt appreciate it because if you arent a member here, how can you know what we do?

I agree man, whats the go? I did watch a few videos last week but after the fights reached fever pitch I stopped. Now Im making the biggest attempt I can and it doesnt seem to be making a difference. We have found a plan to keep us both happy but its changing from wireless to land connection thats going to cost.
If I get the work Im hoping for next week it'll be fixed, but its a major puzzle to me why its suddenly using 3 times the amount it used to....Im even going to check out the library!
Kman did spend some time on Ytube last week checking out transformers videos....Of course that must be my fault?
And to all.....
Despite the web being a huge place I have done my research and find that orble is the best site if you really want creative minds. Other places just dont have the same scope for intelligence and talent so I wouldnt budge even if telstra are offering free internet from their site! Just doesnt make any sense to me!

Oh, I wasnt man, Im totally used to personal critisisim! Jeez, I would never have survived here if I didnt know how to deal with it!
It was just the combined effect of Kman telling me he checked the useage and APPARENTLY it leaps up a massive amount for Orble and Orble alone. So Im planning this post on why telstra hates orble when I read this person on Katyzzz's blog saying how crap a site it is....I just dont appreciate people talking shit they have no idea about. You do your research before you make great sweeping statements.
I wasnt aware that you could check the useage on your bill for each site....Unless he just assumes it must be orble? Im sure you know what kind of plan we have, where you get so much for such amount and if you go over they charge like a wounded bull? We will fix it soon but he says its since I got the domain blog its using more....Total mystery to me.

Yeah, I know about ytube! When I first joined up it only hurt the bill if I posted lots of photos. I played with my images a bit and the problem seemed to be fixed, but since I got the domain its really chewing it up. What neither I or Kman understand is how orble can use 3 times the amount of warcraft, when orble is just a standard page and warcraft is interactive with constant downloads. Kman theorizes its got to do with certain sites costing more because telstra asks for certain payments, you know, like an american express charging the store instead of the customer? I dont know, but its frustrating the hell outta me because until we fix it Im being timed - IT SUCKS
