Why are comments deleted

A really good comment was deleted from one of my posts. Is there any reason why this would happen? The person got upset that thier comment was deleted and posted a follow up comment under the lost opportunity cost post.

Blogs are deleted if they look like spam. Very occassionally a genuine comment is deleted by mistake.
