what's the difference between

I'm not sure what the difference is between following a blog and subscribing to a blog.

Also, when I tried to follow my first blog I was taken to "My Orble - account". I tried several times with the same result. I checked under blogs that I follow in "My Profile" and the blog doesn't show.

Also, just curious, does a blog writer know who their followers are?

Any help would be appreciated, thank you

Hi, I had this problem until I realised I wasn't logged in - are you logged in when you try to follow? I think following means you can filter them on your home page, subscibing means you get an email.

I don't think you can see a list of followers, but if you go to a writers page it shows which blogs they follow, so I guess you can see if they follow yours.

Thank you, I now know the difference between following & subscribing. Now, if I could only figure out how to follow a blog...

After I read your comment I did make sure I was logged in & again tried to follow a blog but it takes me to My.Orble.com > Account. Am I supposed to change some settings there? I also checked My Profile and the blogs I follow box is still empty

I am currently logged in, tried to follow this blog, as I have in the past, and it takes me to my account. It SOMETIMES lets me follow -- I think I'm up to 3 although I've clicked on about 15 -- but most of the time it doesn't. There must be a glitch somewhere. What can we do?

Just then I logged out from this page, after a screen blip it kept me on this page but I was logged out, so I logged back in, screen blip and hit follow and viola! I'm now following. Lol. No idea what is going on.
