theres a few older posts that i recieve notifications for via email whenever new comments are added - they are all wonderful informative posts but as time has gone on they now seem to only be attracting Anonymous comments which i presume is because most of the new readers are generated from random seach engine traffic

my problem is that i cannot unsubscribe from these posts - there seems to be no way to disable these notifications

i have followed the links supplied in the emails and tried to change the settings but they just keep coming

the Lemon Detox one i have never even commented on and the link in the email just goes to Orble homepage

i have provided the names and links to the posts that i most often recieve emails about

has anyone else experienced this sort of problem?

it might be a little gliche in the system or someting particular to just a few older posts - either way could please have my notification subscribtion to new comments on these posts diasbled?

eg:

I'm having a similar problem when I add comments. I keep getting email notices whenever someone adds a comment after mine. I've gone back to my comment and made sure no is selected under notify me of replies, but I still get them. Sometimes after I go back and double check when I still keep getting emails, I will find the yes is selected....very strange.

Oh this is happening on newer posts.

Yes, I've had a similar problem. After selecting 'No', a page reload seems to tell me that I've said 'Yes'...

I'm getting notifications for every little thing, from "traffic stats" and "writer stats" to comment notifications on my blog and blogs I've responded to. I have tried to check no on all of these kinds of things so that my inbox won't be full. I came here specifically to see if anyone else was having this problem--apparently so...

thanks for responding!
good to know its not just me!
im not concerned about the writers stats (i have created a seperate folder to move them to and store them for future reference)
i just want to stop being notified of people leaving comments on third party blogs
and im getting notifications for some posts i have neve even commented on . . . it just fills up my inbox unnecessarily

anon, there's a setting in My Orble to turn off the notification emails...
