Title below the title?
July 19th 2007 23:30
Hi, I've got two queries (any help very much appreciated):
1. In my first post, below the heading, there's a double line where I've repeated the heading. When I created the post, this seemed to be a required field, but what exactly is it supposed to do, and can I delete it?
2. How do I select the format where the posts display on the middle of the page?
Thanks!

With your first post the second line at the top is actually the caption for an image that is not appearing. I think you copied the review from a regular blog?
To change the blog format click on the "modify" link and go the the "format" section. There are a number of options there. You may also want to play with the theme of your blog. You can do this by clicking on the "theme" link.

Hi Jon, thanks very much for your help! But still having probs with this...
I've re-uploaded the image, and the funny caption thing won't disappear.
Worse still: when I try to post a new post, a caption seems to be required there as well.
Having trouble capturing an image to show you what I mean. But, basically, in the template for new posts, just above the "Post Title (required)" field, there's another field in a grey box entitled "(required)", and the preview post/create post buttons won't let me proceed without filling in that field.
Any idea what I could try?

OK, I'm with you now. You have somehow created an extra post field for your blog.
Click on the Modify Link, scroll down to Post Fields, and delete any fields in that section. Let me know if you have any problems.
