I'm trying to accept my application approval for The Geek Speak, but whenever I click on the link provided (Really Long Link) I get an error message like this:
Application Does Not Exist
The Application Key provided is invalid. Please ensure you have entered the URL correctly.
You might be able to view the page here.
Thanks,

The Really Long Link function is something I've added to try to stop people creating text (comments and posts) that messes up the formatting of Posts in IE.
Sometimes people post a long string of characters with no spaces (often URLs) which cannot be split over multiple lines by the browser. On Firefox this isn't a problem - the text just runs outside the content box. However, on IE the content box is stretched to the width of the text and messes up the formatting.
Hence, I have added a feature that goes through the text of a Post/Comment before it is created and either a) turns the text into a Really Long Link, if the text looks like it is a URL b) adds spaces to the text so it can be split up by the browser and hence does not mess up the formatting.
Anyway - I hope that all makes sense. If you find any problems with this please let me know.
Cheers
Jay

Is there anyone else who can accept applications? Maybe they accepted the application before you did. Then the application will have been deleted so the key will be invalid.
If this isn't a possible solution please let me know and I'll look into it. Who was the application from?
