Can we add a link in our blogs such as a blogroll? I would like to exchnage links with my friend who happens to have her own blog too and I also would like to claim my blog from technorati.. help?

Can someone who has done a technorati claim help out. I must admit that it has been about 6 months since I did one. I think you need to paste some code into a post.

1. Sign up or login to Technorati, whichever needs to be done.
2. Once thats done, go into your account, and find the "Claim your Blog" link.
3. Enter the URL of the blog your claiming and press "Begin Claim".
4. Click "Use Post Claim." The "Embedded Claim" option can't be used because we don't have access to our blog's core HTML.
5. Create a new post on your blog (in another window) and set the date to a long time ago, so it doesn't appear on the Orble frontpage or your blog frontpage. The title can be anything you like.
6. Paste the code provided by Technorati. It should look something like this:
7. Put the HTML tags around the code, and go through the normal steps to create the post.
8. Once thats done, go to the Technorati page again, and click "Release the Spiders." Technorati will search for that code on your blog, and it will say that your blog has been claimed, and how many other websites within the technorati network link to your blog.
And thats it. Sometimes, Technorati can be a little fiddly with the process, so if you have any problems, PM me and I'll try and sort it out.
