Suggest Ideas for Orble Blogs

Hello Everybody
Jon,sorry took a little time , But i have some ideas for orble blogs.Random ideas but could be helpful.
a.Read More Plugin : It should be option for every blog to put a post break and should be in the editor itself.
b.Feed Counter : If we can know somehow how many people have made a feed to our blog or how many have subscribed.We can use feed burner count.
c.Meta Tag : when i extracted my blog's (at orble) meta tag, it had only 3.If we can make all the kewwords to be included dynamically, which we add to every post, added to header it will be great.
d.Blog Submissions and Pingers : I am not sure but if orble is doing blog submissions and pinging the ping services or not.If not we can have "to ping" list at every post end when we r writing it.That will auto ping when we publish.
e.SItemap: All search engines majorly require Sitemaps these days.DO we have it at orble?

f.Social Bookmarking : We need to have this one too.May be asking to much but social book marking are playing top roles.I have one on my tech blog at the end of every post.
g.Blogroll: If we can have a place where we can add other bloggers link.This will help in speedlinking.
h.Bullet list : Th eeditor can be enhanced a little.We need at least bulleted points.
i.Pages: if we can have some pages like "About".Not more but 3-4.Where we can add some extra things whihc is not suitable for posts.
j.My own sidebar place : If we can have just one are on sidebar which we can control.We can use it show some important info soemthing like that.
I might be asking for more but lets see what everybody says and some can be implimneted considering everything it would be great.

You can do a Blogroll already I think? Have a look at this post.
I think the META tags should already be populated as you suggest - this might be a bug? Having said that, so far as I know there are no per-BLOG keywords - might be a useful addition?
All your other suggestions are good and will of course be considered

I guess you could do the RSS Feed thing by seeing how many times the same IP address has accessed the feed - then filter out any less than (say) 100. I doubt it would be very accurate though?

As meta part is most necessary, we should be able to add all the keywords provided into index page.SO when crawlers ro any other comes they knwo what inside this blog.
On Rss feed.If we can replace this button with feed burner button.It will be good.Its not hard to put it there.It will allow readers to add them to whatever they want mygoogle or myyahoo as they wish.
Css if its coming pretty good. I am waiting for it.
Blogroll didnt work for me.I wil try later again

Like katyzzz's latest post, it is regarding should we or shouldn't we comment on others posts. This isn't why Orble was set up and is an implicit and growing problem of Orbles community that is not only evident but detrimental to its longevity. New people visiting Orble don't want to read this in-house mud-slinging and as such should be involuntarily moved to this sub-forum for the writers and not for the wider readership.
Just my thoughts and opinion.

A checkbox or something for spotlight posts to turn them on and off without having to go into the post and modify it to change its status.

Do you mean for each Post? You can set the Read More options from the Advanced Themes page.

You mean all the keywords for every post to be added to the meta tag of the index page? That would be too many I think -- or have I misunderstood.
Do you want the keywords for each Post in the meta tags? In which case you should put them in the Short Title field.

Also on the list. Search engines do not require Sitemaps, in fact I'm a bit sceptical but it's worth doing just in case.

You can use spotlight posts for this purpose.

You can do this already. See this post. You can also use Top Menu Section and Middle Menu Section.
Great suggestions Ashish. Most of the things on the list should not take too long to implement once Jay has finished the things he is working on now.
