Security text woes for Mac users?

Guys

A quick one.

When prompted by the message 'For security please input the text shown below into the text field provided' - nothing appears on the text field one either of the Macs (i-mac or e-mac) we use at home.

Is this apparent with all Macs?

Ever since the server upgrade a week ago I've been having a problem with the image catchpa. I'm currently having a back-and-forth with my ISP support guys to try and fix it. For the moment the code appears in the text beneath the image. If you cannot find this code let me know. Hopefully I'll have it working properly again soon.
