Recent posts not showing up

When I posted today's entry (Jericho - Federal Response), it showed up on the orble homepage under recent posts, but took several minutes after that to actually appear on my blog. It's there now, but there is no link to it in my recent posts on the left hand side.

Just wanted to know if this is happening to anyone else.

We have just changed the caching system to be more efficient -- there may be a couple bugs. I'll let Jay know about this one.

I am having the opposite problem, my links all show up on the side. but when clicked on , there is no post that shows up!
Right now my post "recycled toothbrushes" is not showing up.
Help!
