Hi all
Seeing as the Christmas party was such a success perhaps a NY party should be on the books too. I missed out on the Christmas one as I live in QLD but hope to be in the Sydney area for NY. Obviously we all have our NY plans already but perhaps a pre/post NY party somewhere. I dont really know the Sydney area or what anyones plans are so some suggestions?

Anywhere in the heart of Sydney is probably best. We could even have it at the Dolphin Hotel again in Surry to make it an Orble 2 party. As long as the venue isn't too loud and the day is ok for everyone to get to I don't mind.

Yep, 1st round on me. All other drinks you lot can buy yourselves.

The 2nd is a Tuesday and the 7th is a Sunday. I was gonna suggest Sunday 7th, afternoon ...?? You still in town Ash? Will everyone have recovered from NYE/D partying by then ... I'm not sure I will have ... my werewolf shenanigans tend to go on for several days and nights ...

Gah!
I'll be in Queensland on that day up and until about the 13th of Jan. But, that's no reason to stop the party that's already in the works!
If the date is pushed back (and that's up to the people who can make it) I'll go, but at this stage it looks like a no unfortunately.

Im trying to organise my travel arrangements at the moment - can you believe someone got so full of christmas cheer they side swiped my car and wrecked it totally???!?!!?!?! What a lovely christmas present and they didn`t even stop so I could thank them!
If everyone is happy with that I will try to get there for that date. Flights have skyrocketed to im scraping together the cash and hoping I will be there before New Years!!!

I SINCERELY SINCERELY apologise but I won`t be able to make it to Sydney any time soon. The car has had to go in to get fixed after some maniac drove into it the other night and flights are just ridiculous. I hope you all have a great one though and if you do get together LET`S HEAR ABOUT IT!

That's awful that someone did that and then didn't leave their details. What a rotten start to the year. It's also a pity you can't make it to Sydney especially after you trying to organise the party. How long will your car be out of action for?

cars and computers are two things that sometimes cause more headaches than they are worth! Hopefully by the end of Feb I can get down there.
