Off Line Blogging Tools-Which One?

Working directly with the active editor for Orble is alright, but wastes a lot of time and resources. I'd like to be able to work my blog posts over a bit before I post them. I have lost work because the internet goes down at very odd times here in Alaska and it is frustrating.

What off line editors has everyone been using? I want to try Scribe Fire, it works with my FireFox browser. So, anyone have any suggestions? My version of MS Word certainly doesn't seem to be the answer.

I down loaded and installed Qumana, when it asked for an API URL, I gave it my Typepad info and it allowed Qumana to open. I wrote my blog with the program, saved it, and then cut and pasted it into my Orble blog, added my pic's and posted everything. No hitches or glitches. Now, I am suspicious about how easily everything went together, but willing to cede that it might be an OK thing.

Jon mentioned that he will include setting up an API URL on his list of 'to do' items. Yeah, I just had to ask him.

yeah, an offline editor is a good idea if your connection isn't stable...

I've gotten pretty fast with the orble editor, though!

Especially if both the author and the connection is unstable, lol. I am not a speed typist by any stretch, so this may ease some of my posting angst. Raven

Actually, I usually write my blog entries in Google Documents.
