No earnings in Adsense
October 14th 2010 21:25
Hi,
I recently setup an adsense account for my blog and added the client ID to my orble account a few days ago but no earnings have been generated so far.
Is there something wrong? Am I missing anything? Does it take more than a few days for earnings to trickle thru?
Please help.

That being said, some sites attract heaps of ad clicks, and others attract very few... it really just depends on your demographics. It's hard to say whether a dessert recipe site would attract people looking for specific products.... I think it would, personally, so the lag factor could simply be the result of a stuffup over at Google (it happens).
Best of luck with it.

As for the money, it can takes months to see your first red cent with adsense. As long as you continue to blog, though, your earnings will gradually increase. I've been with adsense for a few years and I'm just now earning about fifty dollars a month.
