I have the list set to show only five posts, but every post I've done is showing, including the one i set up for links and was dated so as not to show at all on that list.

OK, I see the problem.

There are actually two recent posts lists which can be confusing. I need to rename one of them.

The main one in the menu cannot be changed. The Bottom Menu Section will fall off the end once you have written a few more posts. I'm afraid there is not much you can do about that.

The list you have limited to 5 is actually the list underneath each post just above the comments.

Thanks. I understand now. I thought changing the number was for the list in the left column.
