Formatting Problems
October 18th 2006 01:43
For some reason the words on one of my blogs was running right off the side of the page. I couldn't find any margin settings and I wasn't sure what was causing the problem. Any suggestions?
Thanks,

Could you let me know the URL of the post which is causing the problems? This will help me figure out what is going on.
Jon.

When editing a comment, it is also doing the same thing, where the words extend beyond the text box and you can't see it to edit the comment.

Five...Six...Pick up sticks
Can you tell me what is supposed to be wrong with it? And was it broken before anyone posted a comment or did it start looking bad after a particular comment was posted?

Not sure if that helps?

In your case the page has been stretched by the long URL you have entered. Try to use the LINK facility but enter a descriptive link rather than the full URL - this way:
1) you won't get page distortion with long links as seen in this case.
2) you can provide a catchy and useful phrase for your link, such as Shoot The Chef: Official Article which will help people browsing your Blog to know what the link is for.
3) you might help the search engine ranking of your blog - search engines like descriptive links.
Voices - can you post a screenshot of your Blog so I can see what is going on? I still can't see what is up - it looks fine on my version of I.E!?!

Have you got a URL where I can see the problem occurring?
Thanks
