I don't remember seeing this topic dealt with before, but then I don't always check this particular part of Orble.

Anyway, what puzzles me is the lack of options in the channels section. There have been a few extras added since I began, but quite honestly it's often difficult to fit posts into some of these categories. They seem to go from very broad categories to quite particular ones.

Could we have the range increased?

Let me know what channels you would like added and I can do that. I don't like having empty channels, hence why they can seem a little broad.

Okay, Jon, thanks for that. I'll have a think over the ones I've felt were missing, and get back to you.

Actually one particular one relates to the blog I do with a work focus....I've always had to put this into lifestyle/other. It would be nice to have a category for work!

I would like a humour sub-section and a short story sub-section in particular.

I agree with Jon - having fewer channels is better than empty channels. The point of the channels, I think, is so readers can find similar topic that they're interested in...

Fewer channels is great when so that they don't look empty, but it can be very hard to find areas to put some categories. Like tattoos and piercings would they be considered health, lifestyle, or miscellaneous? Channels are great to help people find similar posts, but it can be hard to do that when some of the categories are so broad to actually find similar topics.
