Ok so maybe I don't have a life, don't judge me please. But, I've only been an Orble blogger for a week and a half, maybe two weeks. My point is I'm already up to Karma 9. 10 is the highest right? Well, that seemed pretty easy to reach. Is there any plans on just making it Karma infinity? Like you just keep earning exponentially?

There are no plans to increase the amount of Karma you can get to more than 10.

Your Karma is basically scored in relation to everyone else on Orble -- a certain % of members will be 10, a higher % will be 9, a higher % will be 8 etc.

It is possible that it's getting a little bit too easy to get a high Karma value as there are so many people on Orble who don't even write a blog which are filling up the % allocations for the lower values. Perhaps a readjustment is in order.

Well, I've now already made it to 10. That was actually very easy. I didn't think I did a lot, but maybe I just have as little of a life as I thought.

The original plan was to make the karma values logarithmic, so that it'd get increasingly harder to climb the values, like the Richter scale.

I think it's time for a re-evalution!

The FAQ has a section on how Karma is calculated. Basically it's 1/3 traffic, 1/3 comments, and 1/3 the number of votes your posts get.
