Networking on Orble: Halp!

Hello again.
I don't intend to be so lazy, but perhaps people could answer me this rather than making me go FAQ-diving:
1. How do you become someone's "friend" on Orble? Other than the obvious plusses of fellowship and networking, are there official benefits to this?
2. How would one join a blog that someone else has made open? Is there a list of join-able blogs?
3. How does partaking in these activities generate traffic?
I also don't intend to sound so pragmatic. But inquiring minds and achy typing-fingers
want to know!
