Hi everyone,
I just wanted to bring up something that Katyzzzz pointed out late last week about Google AdSense Payments.
Has anyone else noticed a marked downturn in their daily earnings from Google Adsense over the past fortnight?
I am still getting the same number of clicks as last month, but in terms of monetary payment, each individual days earnings has been down by 50% or more.
I know a few people will say that I should not be writing for the money, but if we can earn a decent amount of cash out of our blogs (which I have been doing), than why not take the money when it is on offer.
Just wondering if there is a general downturn across the board, or are the ads on my site not paying as much?

If you are seeing a specific trend on your blog it may be because the nature of your traffic has changed (people are arriving at your site from different google searches) or the pages which people are looking at has changed and the ads on those pages are worth less.
Have a look at your traffic stats from before the drop with your current traffic stats and compare the pages which were being looked at most. Are they about different subjects? Do they have different ads on them?

Thanks for your suggestions - while my post count has increased over the past month, I have noticed a slight change in ads that are advertised on my blog.
I have had a marked increase in readers from different search engines - I just noticed that. I am guessing that the combinations of these two factors are a contributing factor - in saying that, I have had a two week high today in terms of revenue!
It's just too compicated for this simple mind!!
