I got an email from KarenC saying that when she tried to make a post she ended up at my control page. I decided to foward the email rather that do a post herte.
However, I could not access the mail, ans I was in KarenC's mailbox. I clicked home and ended up at her control panal.
I'm quite confused.

I have another general problem that my computer keeps showing every page as it is when i first open it, even when I refresh, and I'm guessing that that relates to the cookies too. That's not so much advice i'm asking for but an explanation of why I can't see your next reply.
However, the thing is KarenC is having the same, opposite prob.
I used to be on www.matmice.com as a wee kiddy. Every so often I had the same problem there of being on somebodies elses control panel so i don't think it's a totally unique problem. (When i was on matmice - whole different computer using I.E, now new comp firefox)

I still don't know what could be causing this. Do you know KarenC personally? Do you share a computer? That might explain things, otherwise I'm as confused as you. I'll try to get to the bottom of it though...

could it at all possibly have something to do with the IP ranges of both your computers? umm, probably not (I have no idea how this happens) but you should try rebooting your modem, just turn the power on and off, so you get a new IP address from your ISP.
You could also try torpark which gives you a fake random IP address (from another country) and clean start on everything (uses nothing from your firefox install), it is based on firefox too which is an added bonus. You'll find it's kind of slow to browse websites, but if orble works using torpark I think Jay would have a bit of a major jinormous bug to squash.
Hope it helps, this is one of *those* situations that you have no idea whats going on, you just do stuff till it works.
