Funny text/font in my post

I seem to be getting funny text/font in my post(s)...like an 'accented A', etc...
I can't seem to get rid of it <tearing hair out...>
Is it because I work on 'Word'...then copy and paste into the post page?

You are quite right - copying and pasting from MS Word does cause a few problems because certain characters seem to be unique to Word.

Try using notepad or wordpad next time.

You can only delete the funky 'A' characters by deleting the surrounding letters as well - just deleting the 'A' characters themselves will not solve the problem. You will need to delete the '-' or the apostrophe (these two tend to cause the most problems) and re-type it in the edit window.

Hi Charles...thanks for the quick response.
I actually did try deleting the surrounding text as well, and re-typed the word...but didn't really work. Driving me nuts...

I'll try it on the other software u mentioned. Thanks again
