what happened to the date function for new posts? and there were a whole lot of other features which have gone...?

I'll have a go at fixing this today. It should still all be there on domain blogs -- it's just Orble blogs which are affected while we make a few updates.

Actually, while we're on the subject of dates, here's another wishlist-request-please-Jay-if-you're-not-too-busy:

One situation I often find myself in is... I start writing, and then a couple of hours have passed since I began, and I have to readjust the date.

Would it be possible to have some sort of "Set to current time" button when you click on the date field to modify it? Or could posts simply default to current time (unless the user specifies otherwise) when you create them?
