Can't find categories

Hi
I have setup categories for my blog as per Really Long Link

That page says categories will appear at the bottom of any page I'm editing or creating. But there's no sign of a categories picklist. What am I doing wrong? All help appreciated.

When you go back to the category editing page are your categories still there?

Once you have created the categories you need to click on the submit buttom at the bottom of the page.

The categories are still there, yes, so I'm sure I did submit, but they're just not available....

It's working now. You need to leave in the root category
