Hi, I was wondering how you upgrade a standard post to a breaking post. I've tried to do this with a post I've written, but I get the message "This post cannot be upgraded". -- What are the criteria?

You need to submit your post to the breaking posts blog.

Just a link to your post is sufficient. It just let's us know that you would like that post to be considered for the breaking posts section.

Hi, I'm a bit confused about breaking posts. I just submitted one to the blog after creating it...now I have two posts (I'm working on Film Peek)..should I have simply just added it to the breaking post one?

They only stay on the list for 12-24 hours usually as they get bumped off by newer breaking posts. What was the URL of the post?

Yep, that one was on the list. Like I said, they only stay on the list from 12-24 hours though.
