Blogs open to anyone

Hi Orble world! I started two blogs a few months ago, one on my serious specialty, and one on online gaming. I am now getting some pretty nice traffic on my gaming blog ("dollars"!!).
I have two questions. 1. Sometimes there are blogs "open to anyone" for posting (such as this one). Is there a complete list of open blogs? I have several ideas for posts, and they don't fit inside my two categories, and I don't want another blog, but I would like to see the list of open blog to see if there are places I can stick a few posts (beauty, web design).
2. Is it kosher to have Affiliate links inside my blog posts? I use two affiliate programs, and if the post topic warrants, I include links, images, etc. No one has ever said to me to "stop that!" and i still draw the adsense credit, so I hope everyone is very happy with me, as I am happy with orble.

Re: Affiliates - as far as im aware you can have as many affiliates and advertising as you like, when i remember i sometimes put Amazon advertisements on my posts
perhaps someone else could offer some more officials answers but i thought i would just throw a few ideas out there in the meantime
