Anybody tracking their blog url through adsense channel ?

Hi,

Is anybody tracking their blog url through adsense.We recently added our pub id with orble .

However i was tracking my blog through it.It didnt make sense.

According to stats given by orble i had 50 hits so 25 times my add were shown.But it didnt came on Adsense report.?

Is anybody having the same problem?

Orble hits aren't always the same thing as adsense impressions - Google tends to ignore when we look at our own blogs.

I do have a channel for Orble in adsense and I have gotten impressions from that. No money yet, but it's still very new.

TDS -- do you have a URL channel for lotsofsonnets.com? Using a channel for Orble.com will not work...

when I try to bring up channel info on Adsense, it always says, "no data available" which seems strange because it does show my page impressions and earnings in the overview.

Any ideas?

jon - the channel that I've been tracking is lotsofsonnets.com , which is why I have gotten registered impressions. Just no money yet.

Can someone clarify for me what 'channels' are in this context? I didn't have a clue what Google was talking about when I activated the Adsense site, so I haven't done anything with the channel side of it.

Channels, in this sense, are URLs for domain names (or pages, if you like). You specify a URL (like your Orble domain name) as a channel. Google can then create reports that show hits and revenue by channel.

I've set it up with a URL channel for each of the domains on which I use AdSense. I can then see which domains (channels) are making money.

On the Adsense site, go to AdSense setup and click the URL Channels link. Click Add New URL Channels. Then enter the URL for the site or directory or page you want to track. Normally, this will be your Orble blog domain name. Click Add Channels to add the URL to the list.

That should get you started. Good luck.
