Adsense rejection

November 17th 2010 21:28
Well, I read your advice on what to do if they rejected my application through Orble:

"If your application is not successful then create a free blog on blogger.com (owned by google, the can't refuse that) and apply for an AdSense account using that domain. "

Guess what? They did reject me on blogger. The message says my Adsense account has been inactivated. How can that be, since I never HAD an Adsense account? I've appealed to them, asking that question, but that was just today & I don't expect an answer for a while. Thought maybe you folks might have some ideas.

Update: Now they say they can't find me--

"We've searched our system, but we weren't able to find your AdSense
account with the information that you've supplied."

I just filed another appeal, telling them I never had an AdSense account in the first place, I'm applying for the first time (through Blogger, anyway). Do they remember the Orble application that came first, under a different email address? My Blogger and Google accounts use my Gmail address, but my Orble account uses the email address I use for everything else. Is that what's confusing this whole thing?

I'd suggest applying again from scratch using your Gmail/Google account details.

Jon, thanks but I did already apply through my blogger.com account. That's what I meant in paragraph 3 above. That's when I got the reply that my AdSense account (which I never had) was inactivated.

I haven't replied to your post before because I've been waiting for them to reply to my message/appeal regarding the account that they couldn't find which they inactivated which I never had in the first place. (sigh)

Since I haven't gotten any response, I gave up & submitted another appeal just now. I noticed in the appeal form there was no hyphen between my first & last name, like Orble formats it. Maybe that's it. I don't know.

Yea-a-a-a!

They accepted me.

Maybe it WAS the hyphen all along.

(Chagrined. Embarrassed. Humiliated. All that.)

But I still say the instructions were misleading.

Now, on to the actual setting up & getting blogs going here & elsewhere.

Stay tuned, all you millions of followers. (That's sarcasm, by the way. I know how the build-readership thing goes. I HAVE been reading up on all this.)

Still, it's good to get anything positive.

Well, I don't know. From what I see here and on other forums all over the place, they don't tell anybody much of anything, and they don't intend to, either. It's like, "Well, we rejected you, but our algorithms are secret and you can just go ahead and try to guess what the problem is and fix it." Or else, "We've hereby rejected you for life and we're not going to tell you why we did that, either."

Oh sure, they say invalid clicks or insufficient content or whatever, but those are canned responses which don't really address the individual's specific supposed offenses. "What did I do wrong?" You just have to try and figure it out. There's no way I've found to get a question to a person--so no dialog is possible.

Even the worst teachers I ever had would tell you what you did in pretty specific terms. "You violated a policy and that's why you're in detention for the next hundred years." But if you asked them, "But what did I do?", they'd tell you, it was for flicking pennies at the light globes in 6th period study hall.

They deleted my account and gave me no explanation. I contacted them on many occasions but got no reply from this arrogant organisation.

Hi Orble team,

Earlier I tried to connect my adsense account to Orble and then when I tried to disconnect adsense, there was no option. Kindly disable my adsense account on Orble. Please help me in this regard.
