Being logged out for no apparent reason?

Its been happening to some bloggers here, including me.

I don't understand it, but basically it doesn't register you as logged in, I click on 'login' then it etiher does say I am logged in with my proper account WITHOUT asking my username/pass or it doesn't do anything at all. Sometimes I refresh the page to see if it will help, it does sometimes but sometimes it doesn't.

Just wanted to know if this is a known problem that can/is being fixed or not.

Ahmed -- could you delete all your old cookies (or at least those related to Orble) and let me know if you still have this problem?

Yeah I did that soon after posting that thread.

Still happens but if I refresh it once it logs me in, so I dont really mind so much.

There is not much we can do about the "refresh it once" problem without upsetting the search engines -- we sweated over it for quite a while. The problem is caused by the fact that we cannot set cookies on domains other than the one the user is on.

If anyone has any miraculous solutions let me know.

I have been having similar problems, particularly when writing comments. I will preview the comment and everything will seem fine, then when I press the create comment button it puts the comment through as anonymous.

If you preveiew the comment it always puts it through as anonymous (asks for you to write down text you see in a picture doesn't it?).

I think thats another bug.

Yeah that's what happens. It only started a couple of days ago - I'm pretty sure that before that it worked fine for me.
